Private Sector Initiative

Private initiative and entrepreneurship are driving forces in growth creation, social development, and poverty reduction. There is an increased focus in developing countries on creating an enabling business environment and on discussing the challenges and possibilities of globalization and strategies towards addressing these issues.

To support these processes and economic development in general - through capacity development in the private sector - Danida Fellowship Programme has launched the Private Sector Initiative 2008-2012.

The target group of these courses includes CEOs, managers, and leading staff in businesses and business organisations affiliated with Danish private sector support programmes. All costs in connection with the course and the stay in Denmark will be covered by the Danida-supported Fellowship Programme.
