Organisational Change Management

The course is a re-designed version of the course which has been organized 5 times since 2004. The course has been shortened and divided in two parts. Contents-wise, the course has been revised to reflect change processes related to programme management under the new aid modalities as well as the focus on aid effectiveness.

 

The course will have 20 participants. It comprises two course parts in Denmark and an interim period in the home country with guidance and counseling available to the course participants. Participation in all parts is obligatory.

 

The course is specifically designed for Danish supported Development Programmes. Emphasis is put on applicability of knowledge and skills as well as the transfer from course to work area. 

 

Target Group
Managers and executive staff assigned to a key role in planned organisational change processes.

 

Entry Profile

Three years in an executive position; at least one of these with the present organisation.

Course participants must be able to discuss course topics in English and to use a PC.

Course Goals
An enhanced ability of the participating managers to design, initiate and manage change processes towards greater organisational effectiveness in their home organisation.

Course Impact
Participants shall be able to design, initiate and manage change processes towards organisational effeciency and effectiveness in their home organisation. The participants have improved ability in applying approaches to manage change, implement startegies, and do process management relevant to their home organisation.

 

Funding

The Course is co-funded by Danida Fellowship Programme. After selection of course participants, the Danida programmes/projects are charged a non-refundable amount of DKK 2,500 per participant per tutorial week.

Total funding needs are DKK 10,000 per participant. This includes study fees, accommodation, allowances, insurances and international transport.
