Fee Structure for Interdisciplinary Courses

The fee structure for interdisciplinary courses is based on a cost sharing setup where projects/programmes are charged DKK 2,500 per study week for courses conducted in Denmark, and DKK 1,500 per study week for courses conducted in the programme countries. This fee is all inclusive covering tuition fee, return air ticket, accommodation, personal allowances, insurances etc.

The objective of the change is twofold. DFC wishes to decrease the number of late cancellations by hopefully creating a higher level of commitment compared with totally free participation, and secondly, DFC wishes to make courses available for a larger group, i.e. also the Danida programmes with less funds put aside for capacity development. As an added advantage the Danida programmes, which do have funds for capacity development, will be able to forward applications for more than one candidate, and thereby be able to get a critical mass trained.

Furthermore this new cost sharing fee structure will enhance the transparency of the fellowship programme and eliminate the not easy understandable definition of centrally funded courses in relation to programme funded participation.

In case of late cancellations (i.e. when replacements cannot be organised), the fee is non-refundable.

Fees for Suppliers Courses and Degree Studies

The fees for suppliers' courses and degree studies are based on actual costs and the price for these courses and studies is available upon request.
