Effect Measurement
High satisfaction rate
Danida Fellowship Centre's courses have a substantial effect - also after the fellows return home.
The survey indicates that the respondents value the outcome of training in
The effects on the individual level vary considerably according to type of course, probably due to the different nature of the courses and the different positions of the fellows. The effect of cross-sectorial courses on the fellows’ skills and motivation is – not surprisingly - lower than that of tailor-made courses.
Effects on programme level are also given positive feedback, as the courses are seen to broaden the horizon of the fellows, which affects the programme positively. Still, there also seems to be some room for improvement. A little more than half of the respondents (excluding IIA ‘n/a’ answers) report a ‘substantial’ impact on the programme from the fellow’s Individual Implementation Assignment. Also, a number of respondents demand a better link between the courses and the everyday working practice of the fellows.
